*Churchill’s Stairlifts went into administration in 2009 and Freelift Limited took on the warranties and servicing of their stairlifts, honoring any current service agreements to ensure continuity of service for all Churchill’s existing customers.

We have over 120 years experience in developing products which move people between floors, and have been developing and manufacturing innovative stairlifts since 1962, which makes us the oldest stairlift manufacturer in Europe.

With our highly experienced development engineers located in our research and development department, we are able to develop the best solutions and manufacture the highest quality products, each one checked to our exacting standards before leaving our factory.

Freelift developed the first single tube system for curved stairlifts, thereby offering users a practical, but aesthetically pleasing product for the home. We also introduced offset travel, enabling our products to be fitted onto very narrow staircases, something which Freelift are very experienced in.

We work closely with clients and professionals to find the best solutions. We know that for tens of thousands of people their stairs are no longer a problem, thanks to a stairlift from Freelift. Afterwards we are often told: “What a perfect solution.
